The Embassy of Italy, the Defence Attaché Office and the Italian Cultural Institute are happy to announce that the Italian Navy FREMM (European Multi-Mission Frigate) Carabiniere will dock in the port of Tanjung Priok, JICT 2, Jakarta, Indonesia.
ITS Carabiniere is an anti-submarine warship that has been delivered to the Italian Navy in April 2015, as the fourth FREMM of ten to be commissioned.
ITS Carabiniere is fitted with a latest generation platform and combat systems based on state-of-the-art military and civil standards.
ITS Carabiniere is a new generation frigate capable of operating in a wide range of scenarios. Her high flexibility, detection capabilities and Armament enable the vessel to operate in the following situations:
- counter terrorism, anti-trafficking, prevention and control of illegal immigration, sea line of communication protection;
- anti-enemy vessels operations;
- humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (in dual-use role).
The ship can also carry EH-101 and SH 90 helicopters.

Saturday, 11 March 2017, 9.00-11.00 and 16.00-18.30
Sunday, 12 March 2017, 10.00-12.00 and 15.00-18.30
